Dear Dragons,
In light of recent events there seemed to be a lot of confusion about how to handle a greifer or something of that nature.
We have communicated and commented on how to handled them but it came to my mind that we had no real set policy on how to handle them. so here goes.
To see if a member, guild or alliance is being targeted by a greifer then ask others. If what you are seeing falls into that category, then you/we are being targeted.
Next, follow these steps:
1) DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE GREIFER.
2)Enlarge your journal so that way all conversations can be save on the screen image.
3)Make sure the guild tag and name of the pep is visible if possible.
4)At this point I would take a picture of the event (push print screen button) and paste the image on a e-mail program that you are comfy with.
5)Make sure you resize the picture to full size. Save the file as anything i.e. "griever".
6)Now notify your Emissary or GM of what is going on and let us handle the rest.
I know it will be hard sometimes to keep our anger and frustration in check, but is essential that we not play into their hands. They are only doing it for attention. If you give them attention then they win. If we all follow these steps then we can go to the folks responsible and present our case and the issue will be handled in the correct manner.
Remember, we are wanting to be the bigger people in this. To my knowledge the other circles have nothing like this in place. Hence already, we are the bigger, more mature group.
Thank you ahead of time for you cooperation and compliance with this policy.
Yours,
Ramses
Pharaoh
